Jobs Types

When I got my physics PhD degree and made up my mind to leave academy and do anything that’s related to software and internet, there aren’t so many companies like to have me. I had to think in the way like “what is the fundamental of a job?” I had even considered to apply for a cashier in Walmart.

Later I came up with the idea of a meat-eating animal like job and a grass-eating animal job. Some jobs are like grass-eating animal: the gain is steady but moderate, if being lucky it can last very long period of time, just like huge animals like elephant that are grass-eating. Some jobs are like meat-eating animal: the gain is pulsed, when it comes, it can be significant, but it almost never steady. Sales are typical meat-eating jobs.
